The demographic profile for the Classic FM magazine targets their audience at the age range of 35-40 plus. The images on my mood board show this as these things are aimed generally at the older generation; these images also show that the people that would read this magazine have quite a bit of money who likes more traditional, expensive things.
The Gender that this magazine is aiming at I would say is mainly women because of the image of the classical female artist on the cover, but I also think it is aimed at men to as a lot of older men enjoy the classical music to, and the female image will attract them to look at it.
The majority of the people that read Classic FM would be married or have been married in the past and are now divorced. The social status for this magazines target audience is A, the upper middle class.
The Psychographic profiles of the people that read Classic FM are Succeeders, who have plenty of money and perhaps have made something of themselves in their lives.
The lifestyle subsets that the target audience would go into is Young At Heart (early 60’s) and DINKS (double income) because they are going to be an older generation who maybe have kids but have moved out so they have a double income to themselves and can spend it on more things that they would like.
