Analysis Of Two Contents pages

Q Magazine Contents Page

When i first looked at this magazines contents page i was drawn to the large picture of the band The Courteeners, i think was because it is the main image on the page therefore it stands out the most. Also because it has a quote from the article pulled out onto the image it gives you an idea of what the article is going to be about.
The layout of this contents page is very simple so it isn't the most interesting ones i have seen and it doesn't draw your eyes around it so well but it is easy to understand as it shows exactly where everything s and on what page.
This magazine shows it has quite a few feautures so you know they will be something different in there every time you read it, and as it is a monthly magazine it shows there are a lot of pages in this magazine which is what you would expect because it doesn't come out very often. Q magazine also has it's regulars which are Q Mail, Q50 (the month in essential tracks), Subscriptions, Crosswords and Ten Commandments and Q readers would expect to see this every month as these could be reasons to why they read this magazine to others.
