Analysis Of Two Front Covers

Classic Fm Magazine Front Cover

On the front of this magazine cover there are four images of different sizes.
The main image that is used on this magazine front cover is of a classical music artist Myleene Klass. It is a studio image so the lighting is quite bright and it was probably taken just for this magazine and it is a close up shot just of her shoulders and head. But it doesn't cover the whole of the page it is just on half of the magazine cover.
Four colours that been used on the front of the magazine for the writing etc and these colours all compliment each other quite well and they are Red, White, Black and Grey. From doing research and looking at previous classic fm magazines these seem to be there colours they use on every magazine which keeps a theme going through all of them.
From the main image you cant really see her clothes too much but it seems as if she is wearing something quite sophisticated and nothing to revealing that would perhaps be on a lower class magazine, and the colour ties in quite well with the four coloured scheme. As this is a studio image she is looking straight into the camera lense which gives the feeling she is looking straight at you.
Researching into this magazine i think it is aimed at men and women, perhaps slightly more women at the age range of 40-60. Who appreichiate music more and like to learn from the music to. As i think the target age range is between 40-60 i would say they were perhaps married with kids who would be older and are probably looking after themselves now. With the social status of A/B.
