How does your media product represent particular social groups?

My product attracts both sex’s both male and female at the age range of 16-30, in the indie/rock style scene. My magazine is set out for my target audience who are mainly based within the indie/rock genre, and enjoy this particular taste in music.
The image I have chosen to look at is an indie/rock social group who care about fashion and it tends to mean something to them, they are maybe in further education and have strong opinions on their own views. This social group wouldn’t fit into the stereotypes of ‘Goths’ ‘Emos’ or ‘Chavs’ but you could say they have their own stereotype, who likes to go the festivals and write blogs. The indie style comes from the word individual, and these types of people are usually teenagers who want to be quirky and stand out a bit from the rest.
